In the scope of Higher Education and Career Mentorship for Syrian Youth (HEM4SY) Project, face to face meetings were organised in Şanlıurfa, Hatay, and Gaziantep between 5-7 June 2018 for the Syrians under Temporary Protection, Turkish youth, and refugees from other countries in order to provide mentorship for university students and others to continue higher education, to provide information on existing education, job seeking and employment opportunities in the region, and to provide coaching on career and education particularly for the Syrian youth under temporary protection.
Visits and meetings were finalised through meetings with current trainees and representatives at various organisations and institutions such as Sanliurfa Harran University Continuous Education Center where Syrians receive language training in their integration process for their new life in Turkey, Gaziantep Ezo Gelin Public Education Center, Gaziantep Şahin Bey Public Education Center and Hatay Antakya Public Education Center.
